Happy Birthday -- Twins Turn 3

We made it to Three!!
Everyone said 3 would be a lot easier.  It some ways it has and in some ways it is still just as hard.  These boys have super big personalities and are stubborn.  They are busy and love to wrestle and get into everything.... So maybe 4 will be the magic number.

They got books from Usborne.  They have some amazingly cool books, the boys got a race car book, planes, pop up, flap books and books on trucks.

I was looking on fb and ran across a lady selling 2 tubs of cars.  One of Hot wheels which Crew loves to play with and one with Cars from the Disney Movie Cars that Carter loves to play with.   They were both super excited.  They didn't care it only cost me $15 total.

We had a small get together and since the weather didn't cooperate we moved it to the church gym and played some SPUD.  Everyone has a number and you throw the ball in the air, who ever has that number catches the ball and yells SPUD.  Everyone freezes.  The person with the ball can take 3 steps towards anyone and then must throw or roll the ball at anyone.  If they hit someone it counts as one mark against them.  Once you have 3 marks your out.  If you throw the ball at someone and they catch it, the thrower gets the mark, so I always roll it!  My family was there, Tom's parents and sister, and then the Smith's.  It was lots of fun.  Eliza made a yummy dessert to help me out,  and we brought Pizza and drinks.  Simple but fun!

We bought a slide for the boys to play in the backyard.  Since we had moved in the yard wasn't fenced and it was soo sad because we have a huge backyard {the picture only shows a tiny part} and the boys couldn't play out side because they would run away and down the street.  I decided to ask our landlords if they would ever consider putting up a gate to finish closing off the front and they said they would.  A few weeks later it was done.  We seriously have the best landlords and neighborhood, and might never leave!
