Christmas morning 2015

We had a wonderful Christmas morning.  The kids all got what they wanted and we all felt very blessed.  Grammy and Grampy {my parents} came and watched the kids open the presents.  My grandpa Stadtmueller came over and had breakfast with us.  We had overnight french toast, with whip cream and raspberries.  It was easy and SO yummy!!
Emma got an iPad & zagg case {the iPad was used}
Alyvia got a bike and my old iPhone 5 to use as an iPod
Chloe got a little toy pet hamster and a cage that it can run around in {and even though it totally sounds unfair since her sisters presents were way more expensive.  It was what she really really really wanted!}
The twins shared a hot wheel city with lots of new hot wheel cars. They also got scooters.
I lucked out and since i did everyone's Christmas shopping this year.  I got an apple watch and decided to do a family gift and get a bosch, so I could make yummy homemade bread for everyone!
Tom didn't really want anything so he didn't get anything big, just a few books, he wanted to save his Christmas money and put it towards his birthday present {he wants a $1000 drone so he didn't get much for Christmas}
The girls all got to pick a barbie doll from their Great Grandma {who passed away the month before} and they were very excited!
We still always do
WANT
NEED
WEAR
READ
SANTA
so while they don't get that many presents -- it really is a lot when you times it by 5 kids!!
We really try hard to not make Christmas over board, it still is always way too much since we know there are so many people that don't have anything.

Opening a box of underwear and new bras!  Ha ha love to tease her whenever I can!

Their kids and spouses gave them a whole bunch of gift cards to restaraunts along with some of their favorite candies.  They love to eat out so this seemed like the perfect gift!

Carter and Crew's gift to mom and dad...

Emma's stash of Christmas gifts {minus the Bosch}

Alyvia's stash of Christmas gifts

Chloe's stash of Christmas gifts {mine in the back ground}

Overnight stuffed french toast... SOOOO good!

Grandpa Stadtmueller

We normally only do stockings for each other.  This year I did get a iwatch.  Tom is tired of me never answering my phone.

I think somebody had to use the bathroom.

The kid is so stinkin cute!! He has so many faces he likes to make!

Why does Crew always have one eye closed. I have no idea, but we all think it's pretty funny!

Christmas disaster!!

Keeping busy in November

We spent a lot of October and November coaching Alyvia's Volleyball practice and games. They came so far from where they started, and Lyvi discovered she LOVES volleyball!

My neighborhood gals went to see Mocking Jay when it first came out.

Spending as much time with my grandma as we can.

Went with Ricki to Tuachan to see a show.  It was freezing but really great music.

Emma had her fall recital.
She sang an awesome version of Crazy by Gnarles Barkley,
Count on me by Bruno Mars
and Annie's It's a Hard Knock Lock.

I've actually been able to get decorations up on time.  Here are a few of my Thanksgiving ones.

I did a newborn session in Vegas, Tom and the boys drove with me and afterwards we went to one of my favorite restaurants Bochi Burger.  It is sooo good!

I made a whole bunch of freezer meals.  Pretty yummy stuff!

Alyvia and her friend Anna McArthur.

Emma my little artist.

Chloe's getting braces. She has the smallest mouth and all her teeth couldn't fit in there.

Emma got a part at Brighams Playhouse in "It's a wonderful life"  She was Janice.  She got a small speaking part and had about 7 lines, and even had a little solo part in a song.  Practicing 5 days a week sure keeps us busy!!

I did the tough mudder with my Dad, brothers, and Sister in Law.  We had a great time.  It was 12 miles of running, and 22 obstacles.  I was proud I finished them all, and did pretty good on my running.  It was muddy and hard, and I probably won't ever do it again, but it was awesome that I was able to do it this time!
