Thumb sucker -- Please Help!
So I always said whoever said their kid wouldn't take a binkie was because they didn't try hard enough, I was wrong. Every time we tried to give Chloe a binkie she would gag, so now I see why. Last week she found her thumb. She really doesn't suck on it just puts it in her mouth, but I am sure that is too come... Should I let her? Do I have a choice? Any advice would be great. I really don't want to have to deal with a 3 or 4 year old sucking her thumb....

HI Stuckis! How are ya? Looks like you're doing great. You haven't had to move again so that's good. Your girls are so cute. I can't believe how fast time goes by when you have kids. I always have to remind myself of that when my kids are making me nutso!
Ask Tisha Lysi was a big thumb sucker.
The blog list is easy. It's a new feature for blogger. Just add an element and it's one of the choices you can pick. I don't remember what it's called though, should be easy to find however. If you have any more questions just let me know. ;)
I tried everything to get Chase to stop, but he is over 2 and is still sucking his thumb. So I am the one that needs advice! It sure was handy however to get him to fall asleep and for him to get himself back to sleep in the middle of the night - it is a built in binkie.
Thats a tough one lady! I sucked my thumb until I was 8. Obviously not openly, but no matter what my parents tried I wouldn't stop. I lucked out and it actually pulled my teeth together. Babies are so cute when they suck their thumbs, but it is a hard one to break.
I am a binkie pusher, but I am sure I will get one just like that. Your girls are ALL adorable, but Emma is gorgeous and getting sooooooo big. I love first day of school outfits...always the cutest!
Hey Brittany, it's Erin Nicol from your ward. Your blog is so very cute! But I wanted to get you the name of that blog to buy the girls bows:) It is http://bowliciousbowtique.blogspot.com/ and my blog is www.darnicolfamily.blogspot.com.
Where are the pictures from the lake?
I say not to worry about it; it may just be a phaze since she just discovered it. But what are you going to do about it anyway- she is going to suck on it if she wants to! Just let her, she deserves it since she is so good!
When Savanna hit 4 months she also started sucking her thumb. She would spit the binkie out and put her thumb in. I was so worried because she did it all of the time. Two weeks later, she quit and we haven't had a problem since. I think it is a phase. I great to keep in touch with you guys. I know things get crazy, but this makes it easier.
