A vintage inspired Shower
Last friday my mom and I through a vintage inspired wedding shower for my almost sister in law. Here was the invite I created...
The decorations..
I used all my photography chairs and added different fun pillows...
The centerpiece....
The food. We decided to do all desserts. We made brownies with fruit dip on top, those are my favorites!! We made Mindy's {my neighbor} yummiest cupcake recipe... It is the best! and mother goose popcorn colored teal. Dipped strawberries, and my mom made the best looking cookies ever {bottom left} and dipped them in brown and teal {their colors} We also had lots of candy; m&m's, cashews, bubble gum, sixlets, starburst and lemon heads around the room to snack on.
The gift table.... and more shots of the food...
The activity... When the ladies got their we taught them how to make a cute vintage looking hair clip, and then played some games.
The games.... The guest asked Eliza questions that I had asked the groom about the groom. {well they read them} and if she got it right then they had to chew the bubble gum, if she got it wrong she had to chew it. Well she got a few wrong {sorry not a great picture} and then we played the What if game. It was very funny!! And last Eliza opened her presents. It was pretty funny because I found these cute underwear from victory secret that had a long train on them. Her mom and my mom were there, so she was a little embarrassed, but don't we all have to go through that?? I know I did....
It was a fun shower and I am glad that Eliza will be apart of the family. This week is the wedding and we are all excited!!
