The girls started school August 27th, so we were super lucky to have 3 extra weeks of summer vacation.  They were excited to start and start making some friends.  Emma started second grade and Alyvia started kindergarten.  After we had already gotten a bunch of school clothes {and yes we took the tags off and had worn some of them}  I found out the girls have to wear a semi-uniform.  They have to be in the colors; green, blue, white, brown and khaki.  It actually isn't too bad once we finally went and found some clothes.  It just made it a little tricky since I tend to buy black and things with stripes or dots, so pretty much they needed all new things.  

This year they get to ride the bus.  We walk or I take them to the bus stop and than they get to ride it to school.  The school is crazy to drop them off at {We have been late a couple times} and it is a mad house, so we definitely try to make it on time.  I get to pick up Lyvi since she is half day and you have to park your car and go wait in line for your kid.  It makes it a little difficult and annoying when you have other kids you have to get out of the car.  The positive is it makes me get dressed everyday, no jammy day's.  ha, ha.

Oh and the pictures below are all from the first day, I put the kids on the bus, and than some of the parents had said that last year they took the kids to the wrong school and suggested I go to the school to make sure to get them there.. so I meet them at school {they had been on the wrong bus but made it to the right school} and got a few pictures too.
