Alyvia's 7th Birthday and Party
This was the first time in like 5 years we didn't do doughnuts in bed. Her birthday party landed on her actual birthday and because we had to go to Saint George for Presidents weekend, cause I had a photoshoot, we decided to do a morning party. We had all the kids over for breakfast, games, coloring, art projects, and of course who doesn't love a cupcake at 10am?
We let Alyvia open the present we bought her at about 8. I got her new jammies for her party, a La La loopsy book to ready to the kids, a lala loopsy house and about 12 dolls. She only had one and was super excited about them all... bonus that I got to use all her presents as decor for the party. LOL!
She really really really wanted the house, and I had told her no we weren't buying anymore houses, since we have like 4 different small doll houses. So she was very very excited!! {On a side note - Tom finally finished the fireplace/built in area- super exciting!}
Emma used some of her birthday money and bought a la la loopsy for Alyvia. She was very excited!
She lost her tooth the day before {and the other a couple days after}
new clothes from Grammy in China -- Thank you!!
Here is the sample of the craft I am having the kids make. They really loved it! {No pictures I was too busy doing glue!}
Bought the cupcakes at Sams club and then I had already made the toothpick sticks with the la la loopsy on top. I thought it turned out cute, and was way better than then the 2 batches I made at Emma's because they didn't turn out right the first time.... cost the same.
Tom drew a lala loopsy for the kids to color while we were waiting for them all to show up. The kids were all pretty amazed that her dad drew it. We used it later to pin buttons on the eyes.
Only 2 boys were invited. They didn't seem too bothered...
picture time!!
Good thing my table gets really big!! We invited just enough to fit around the table. We made heart shaped waffles with strawberries and whip cream on top.. After the kids just had syrup and lots of whip cream, and then they just wanted the whip cream in their mouth.... I had a line of kids {don't worry - it never touched their mouths - it was very sanitary! ha ha}
She loved all the presents! You can tell by her face.
the kids had lots of fun.... {ha ha look my frame got knocked sideways} maybe too much fun!!
Noah wrapped himself up as a present and Alyvia is opening him in this picture.. too goofy!
cupcakes at 10 am. Yummy!
They got rainbow suckers as their take home gift.
After we cleaned up we headed to saint george. Nannie planned a little birthday dinner - we grilled hotdogs outside around the campfire and had a great time. Lyvi thought she was pretty special that she got a party, and got to see Nannie and papa and her cousin Max and Talia on her birthday -- her. Emma and Chloe have already requested that they want to do the exact same thing on their birthdays again next year. I'm kind of thinking no parties, but I say that every year and so far I have done one for all of them every year....
