ALYVIA-ISMS

10:53 PM OUR FULL HOUSE 6 Comments

Before I tell you these things, let me just say I love our Alyvia. She has such a fun personality... I am hoping that some of these things she does is only because she is 2....  we will see....  This week alone (and it is only Wednesday)
She took out my memory card on our tivo, and I lost all my favorite shows.. That was really sad..
She brought handful of dirt and threw them on my floor.
She dumped Chloe's Thrush medicine out all over the carpet (I have no idea how she got the lid off, at least she didn't drink it),
She colored all over my walls (again)
She got a bag of popcorn out of the trash and dumped it all over my floors.
She unraveled a whole thing of toliet paper.
Used all the soap in the bathroom.
Sadly she fell off something at my in laws and got a huge goose egg on her head.
She colored all over my sheets with pen, so I told her, Alyvia we only color on paper... so a while latter she was coloring all over the pages in my journal (at least she listens, right?)
I am sure there are more things.. The sad thing is I do put her in time out and she gets spankings (can I write that)  but when she gets out of time out, I say what did you do wrong, she says "because...."  I say do we do that again she says "No, naughty"  She says " I love you, kisses"  She has the whole thing down.... what am I going to do with her????

Hahahahahh.....that was freakin' funny!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a crazy, mess-making 2 year old. Regan also has the time out routine down..."Get out, go kiss Sophie." Yikes! They are too smart for their own good.

Brit, I just have to say THANKS for this post. It made me feel like I'm not alone with these toddler battles. I think that's why I blog, so I know all of us moms are in the same boat and we understand each other! Just this morning, Emily stripped down naked, and then ran to me and told me, "I'm a big girl, mama!" I knew right off that she had left her diaper on the floor, and of course, it was a poopy diaper, with poop on the carpet and all over her brother's hands because he decided it looked fun to play with. Grrr! It makes me want to scream, but I know she just wants to be a big girl and is so curious, and I don't want to crush that. What do ya do?

Brittney this is Meghan Brooksby-
I just have to tell you that I am SO SO SO glad that I am not the only one with a two year old that could drive me to insanity :) Today Rylee colored on my walls twice- once with Red Permanet Marker and once with Pencil. When I got mad at her the first time, she said, just get a magic eraser mom (ya know, the Mr. Clean magic eracer? AHHH!) The next time, she said, we don't need the magic racer mom, this pencil has one!! I just laughed at her...little stinker!
Your new baby is so cute and so little! I miss the little baby stages!

Brit I have the perfect boy for your Alyvia. A beautiful red-headed nephew of mine. They are made for each other. Take a look at the blog. . . annebabe.blogspot.com.

Looks like you have your hands full!!
I guess its not always true that girls are easier than boys! :)

WOW!! She is quite a character! I am so happy that Tag is out of the terrible two's, but I guess only a little while and Maddie will be in them! She is hilarious and it looks like you have your hands full with the three of them... Good luck!
