Emma's Arts and Crafts party

Emma had a Art and Crafts party - here are the invites. I used 4 sheets of paper, cut them into circles and used photoshop to add paint streaks on it and the information on each card. Then add tons of different colored ribbons. It turned out pretty cute! We invited 17 kids. Emma had a hard time narrowing it down, with friends from church, school and neighbors.

Here is the cake I made, complete with paint blobs and paint brushes. I am definitely not a professional cake maker, but I do think it is pretty fun. Someday I hope to do some classes to learn more about how to make them look better. The inside I colored the cake mix into 5 colors and then cooked it into 2 - 9 inch circle pans, so when you cut into it there were tons of different colors, I wish I would have gotten a picture it was cute.
Party favors filled with candy, they also took home all their little projects they made.
we played a crayon drop game--see who could get the most crayons in their cups.
We did face painting. Actually the Emma and Maddi did all the face painting, I have to admit they did better than I did.
We played kind of musical chairs except on different colored papers. The kids actually wanted to get out so they could dance to the music.
They painted... colored and made those old school iron bead things.
