At Emma's school they have a contest called Reflections.  It is a art contest.  There are a bunch of different categories {dance, drawing, 3D, etc}.  Emma wanted to do a painting.  It was her first time painting on a canvas.  She did really great, except for that her mom couldn't read directions.  She got marked off for having too thick of a canvas {my fault}.  And then she got marked off for not going with the theme, which I didn't read that there was one.. Oops. Maybe next year I will read it better.  All that matters is she had a great time doing it.

She loves drawing.  Her teacher, Mrs. Mace thinks Emma is a great little drawer, and asked her where she learned.  She said her dad.  Since he is home, he was able to go to her class and teach them how to draw some people. He taught them goldilocks, since that was the theme for that day and ferb {from Fineas and Ferb, the cartoon}

She was then asked to draw some super hero posters for the school for Saying No to Drugs. She was really excited and did some drawings tonight. 

 I stink at drawing so to me she especially GREAT!
