Christmas Day
We had a great Christmas. We woke up at 7 so the kids could see what Santa brought them. We then ate breakfast - a yummy crockpot breakfast casserole- and went to go to my Mom's ward for church.
When we got home we took a few pictures and than we went and got back in our jammies and opened presents. We were trying to do a small Christmas this year. I don't think the girls minded one bit. They got everything they asked for and were very happy. Sometimes I think as parents we go a little crazy and the toys a week later just add to the piles of other toys they already don't play with.
Anyways we opened presents. I got a lot of great shots of my dad. He was being pretty goofy as my mom got him a sock monkey hat and gloves {he use to have one as a kid} I don't think he realized this would definitely be going on the blog. We had a nice dinner. Tom's parents came over to see all the fun presents we got. It was a beautiful Christmas. I actually loved going to church on Christmas morning. It help set the tone for the whole day - and again reminded us of why we have Christmas.
