January's Events
January was full of craziness. Trying to take it easy has been hard especially with 3 busy little girls. Here are a few things that went on this month.
What a goof!! Emma brought home her work from school with her new years resolution. It is so cute! She is going to change lots of diapers this year to help me out. I had to get a picture to help her accomplish her resolution.
It is so fun that all my girls are old enough to understand we are having babies. When we were pregnant with Chloe - Emma was still 3 so she didn't quite get it as much. Now all the girls love to rub my belly, talk to the babies, pat my belly, feel them kick, make up the most silly names of what we should call the babies, and my favorite tell me I am not getting fat at all just my belly. And even though I know it is not the least bit true it is pretty nice. This pregnancy has been a lot of fun for those reasons; and knowing that it will be our last is always on my mind.
Chloe's pregnant with a kitty!
My toes are almost gone!!
My kids thought it would be fun if all 5 kids were sitting on my lap. Get it??
Tom had to go into work on a Saturday so we went to yogurtland and had a little Mommy/daughter date. It was like 11 in the morning - they thought it was so fun to eat icecream that early in the morning!
This month 18 -22 weeks pregnant. Finally feeling pretty good and definitely looking pregnant.
Chloe decided early Saturday morning to give herself a little hair cut. Luckily she didn't cut off too much. I asked her why she said "Because some hair was in my eyes"
Tom loves his new job - it is so much more relaxed that apparently they have time to try on mustaches and send them to their wives. What a goof!! It reminds me of Mario and Luigi. He would definitely be Luigi.
The girls went to 3 birthday parties this month.
My awesome friend Brooke was at one of them with me and we were trying to pass the time away. It was pretty funny cause we were laughing and there were other people around us and they probably thought we were weirdos taking pics of ourselves but that's why I love Brooke - cause it doesn't matter.
A girl in Emma's class had a roller skating party. Mindy had just gotten into town and I dragged her with me. It was 40 minutes away and than we sat for 2 hours and than the drive home. A long day for a birthday party... But she had SO much fun. I tried to walk her around the rink and she said I was embarrassing her so I started walking away and she fell. HA - I think that is way more embarrassing but whatever I guess that is how it's going to be now. .. She did let me walk her around a little more after that but than she decided she hang onto the wall instead.
Our friends the Smith's came down. We had an awesome time. We walked around the disgusting strip - the kids got to see some fun things, we ate lots of good food and had an awesome time. We are definitely grateful for their friendship!!!
We showed the kids were Tom purposed to me - in the forum shops of Ceasar's palace - and we went and showed them the Atlantis show. They loved that.
Lunch at Planet Hollywood.
The wildlife at the Flamingo
This was funny. They had a wall that looked like trees. So we decided to do some fun poses.
I go to the Doctor ever week so it is fun that I am able to see the babies on an ultrasound every week and see how they grow.
Chloe LOVED having Miley here for 6 days. A built in buddy. They played so good together and had a lot of fun!!
Every week my belly is just growing and growing -- with two in there I swear sometimes I can tell I am bigger that night. One day a shirt will fit the next day too tight. It is crazy!
We decided to start a dinner group with my family - once a month on Sunday they come over and we all bring food and eat. Since they live about 40 minutes away and my parents 25 minutes it is nice to be able to at least know we will see each other once a month.
And the girls love to hold their cousin Miles.
The girls are just having fun with makeup and playing. They get along with each other so good and it is so nice that they will just play with each other all day long.
I am trying to get everything ready for the boys room. I bought this cute bookcase from a friend -- I've got the beds and the car seats so we are getting a little closer. It stinks that I have all girl stuff and there is so much boy stuff I still need -- but I still have 3 months so I try to buy a little at a time.
I decided since I think my social life will be on hold when the babies come that I wanted to have a bunco night. I had a bunch of ladies from the ward come and we had lots of yummy food and fun. It was great. I might have to sneak in a few more Girls night outs before the babies come!!
