Chloe's Rainbow Birthday
Since Chloe and her best friend Ava {they are inseparable!} birthday's are just 2 weeks apart we thought it would be fun to do a joint party. Brooke did a lot of the before hand work like invites, hats, cake, take home gifts, games, and since it was at my house, we bought the decorations and decorated, did the bracelets, coloring stuff, and all the food. It was so nice to split it up and didn't seem so overwhelming. The girls had all the same friends which just made it easier. Party's are always a lot of work, but the kids love them!
brooke made these cute hats
I bought all the decorations. Brooke punched out the hearts and I sewed the garland. Tom and I stayed up late decorating
Brooke made the yummy cake. well it looked yummy. still not eating sugar so I didn't get a try.
Brooke made these cute take home treats with gum balls
The boys off to bed during the party...
We decorated the night before and the balloons did not want to stay up. But it looked pretty cute
making rainbow bracelets
Tom made the pancakes on a stick - we also made fruit skewers which the kids loved.
It's so cute on the inside..
Sack races
Instead of a pinata I put candy in the balloons and the kids got to throw darts at the board. Pretty scary giving 5 year olds a dart {but not any less scary then a bat so I guess it's even}
Waiting for their turn
Next up the kids got to throw cheetos at the birthday girls head that had a shower cap with shaving cream...
My birthday balloon I made. We will now have a festive wreath for everyones birthday!
