In the past I have done huge parties for my kids first birthday, but going with my new motto: Keep it simple, I decided just to have the family over for dinner and dessert. Since really when does a 1 year old actually understand or remember??

I made a yummy ice cream cake and the boys LOVED it!!

I found the cake on pinterest it was super easy.  You just alternate the sandwiches back and forth and then use the new cool whip frosting to cover the whole cake.  Then crush up oreos and I used carmel and the hard shell and made it look all pretty and yummy!  It was SOO easy and everyone loved it! {It looks tiny on my huge plate but it feed as all!

 I have loved that my family lives so close and was super sad that Eric and Eliza just moved back to Saint George.  We will miss them!!

The kids jumped on the trampoline and we put all the balls on the tramp and then got in a huge war with my brother and all of us were pegging him with the balls, it was fun!
