Great Wall of China & the rest of the photos

The great wall of china was so amazing.  It looked different in photos, I guess we weren't there at the perfect season when it is all super green but it was still amazing!  They had some weird english translation on their signs.  Pretty funny! And the wall went on and on but you could only walk on a small part of it.  There are a lot of pictures out of order but I just wanted to post everything else I had...

In The Capital, Beijing.  At their closing Flag Ceremony.  A little scary cause of all the armed security!

We went to the most amazing zoo.  The animals were literally feet from us. And most of the animals only barricades were a few shrubs.  We paid to go on this bus that was like a gate on wheels.  It felt like Jurassic park as we drove through double gates to see a million lions, bears, tigers, white tigers, tigers each were in a different section and they feed them raw meet.  The bear climbed on our bus.  It was crazy and really cool.  I also got to feed a giraffe for $3 and could touch him and got licked I was so close and rode on an elephant. Nothing compared to the San Diego Zoo this place was sooo awesome!!

Lots of shopping

Our hotel for one night

View out the hotel

Restaurant -- All about toilets.  Pretty funny as their toilets are squat pots..

Our table

The most american food we ate.

Our dessert came in a urinal. Ice cream that tasted nothing like ice cream since they dont use a lot of sugar

We sat at a lot of airports and train stations.  A lot of traveling!!

It took us 20 minutes get what it would 2 hours in a car.  These highspeed trains are amazing.  Then we were on 1 for 6 hours.  Think how far we would have had to travel then!!!

This building is called the pants.. Do you see it??

Wish I wasn't such a picky eater or I might have liked it.  The veggies were good.

Warmed flavored Milk in a bottle.  Sure we will try it!

Their green bikes were my favorite.  They have a bike station every couple of blocks and you just pay a few dollars a year and you just check the bike out at one station and return it to any other station.  Pretty cool!!
This is right by my parents house.  They live in a beautiful area.  We drove around the whole lake on the scooters.  It was super fun!

Their grocery store is more like an outdoor market, different vendors.  They get mad if you buy from other venders, they all have the same stuff.  Kind of weird but that's how they keep their pricing sooo low!!

Pigs feet anyone??

3 people on one scooter.  We are on our way to pick up another scooter for me to drive...

 I actually loved this food.

Couldn't help but take this.  ha ha

One of their work people took us to dinner and Karaoke - I seriously never thought I would ever see my mom, dad or brother sing.  They sang a lot and was one of my favorite nights!!  Especially cause after we got foot messages! sweet!

Then we were off on another plane... a very small plane.

And this was my FAVORITE restaurant.  The food was very yummy!  Dumplings and Red beans are sooo good!

This is what we crossed and drove in pretty much the whole time.  I felt like we were playing frogger it was sooo crazy!

I loved riding the bikes with Tom.  I lead the way he did all the work. LOL

Getting my picture taken again with 2 phones.

 Night Market

Took a break from Chinese and ate Mcdonalds.  It was SOO good. And in the states its the last place I would pick..

And of course one of my favorite days was buying 14 pairs of shoes.  So fun!!

If you want to buy a rolex, go behind the hidden door in the wall.. seriously!!??

 Aren't They cute!!

I didn't like most of the food but this place was yummy too.  It had the best mango smoothie I have ever tasted!

My dad in the hotel room.  he is so funny!

Max pounds 990 we were at 970, and then realized we forgot to add our back packs.  That felt safe!

Where the olympics were held. Some really cool buildings.

My brother totally photo bombed our picture

 The caged bus

Dont' worry it's only a Lion

 And a bear

The Light show at the lake they do every night in the summer

Me feeding the Giraffes

If we had been here a few months earlier the river behind us would have been filled with pigs. ???
