New York Trip

So long story but my sister in law wasn't able to go to New York and so the day before at about 3 pm it was decided that I would go and somehow worked out with Tom's schedule that I would be to go in her place. It was definitely bitter sweet as I was sad for my sister in law{long story short she broke her back} but I was also very excited to go.

Saw time square

Ate tons of super yummy food and yummy desserts.  My dad does an amazing job at researching the best places. Even if some are out of a truck.  So yummy!!!

One day we rode on bikes all around NY city. I being the mother of 5 decided to wear a helmet.  I looked super silly but of course if anything had happened.... we saw the temple, rode around central park which was even bigger than I thought!!

Went to this amazing burger joint that was hidden away in a hotel.

Saw some beautiful churches, awesome landmarks. we went to the top of the rocker feller. It was the most amazing thing.  I couldn't believe the views and how huge New York!

Yummy Havana brisket tacos.  So good, I am still drooling!

Um we don't really have great kissy faces.. Lol
Of course my favorite.. Wicked!!  It was so amazing!!

Saw the Statue of Liberty.  It was so beautiful!!

Yummy Mexican food!

Speaks for itself.. weird people like to stand in line for this photo. Ha ha

Went and saw ground zero.  So amazing and so sad all at the same time. Brought back so many emotions.  It's such an amazing tribute.

Shopping at Century 21 - this place is stinkin' amazing!! You get lost it's so big and so many levels.

The leaves were already changing, and walking everywhere, while my feet hurt, was very cool.  We took only a taxi to come in and out of the city, the rest of the time we used the subway or walked.  Even though it's so big, I would see the same street entertainment and it actually felt small since we walked around everywhere!

We ate so much food but luckily we did a ton of walking so I didn't gain any weight.  This pizza place was yummy.

And of course you can't go to New York without a Yankees game.  My husband was soooooooooo jealous!  I snapped lots of pictures for him!

This sandwich shop was the most yummiest sandwich I have ever had.  A yummy brisket sandwich.  So good!

Went to a huge candy shop and of course serendipity's.  The wait was over an hour so my dad slipped the guy some money and we were instantly seated.  It was pretty sweet.

And yep I ate this all by myself!

Grand central station was awesome.  It was cool to picture how it use to be, and to see the hustle of all the people

And while I for sure had a great time, I definitely missed my family.  They had made this cute sign!
