November.
We made it to Saint George back to our old house in Coral Canyon, I was so grateful my kids got amazing teachers and they all came home the first day and were so excited cause they had known someone in their class from 2.5 years ago when we had lived there. Emma had a few of her best buddies from kindergarten and first grade, Alyvia had Emma's 1st grade teacher who now does second grade, who is one of my friends/clients that I love! She also had one of her best friends from before, and Chloe had our next door neighbor and best friend Miley in her class. It made me feel again that we had made a great choice about moving even though we miss our friends and ward dearly!!
The boys love the swings and the park is in our neighborhood.
Many months ago we planned this girls trip to see the time out for women. 3 friends live up in Northern Utah, one friend lives in Virginia, and the rest in Saint George, We all use to live in Coral Canyon at one point and have all moved away even in Saint George. We have gone to time out for women for at least 5 years. It is so fun to get together and talk about everything and nothing all at the same time. We sleep over at one of the friends in laws vacation home and stay up way to late chatting and being goofy! Between the 8 of us we have 32 children which is just crazy!!
Some thoughts from Time out for women I really enjoyed:
The theme was reaching higher. They talked a lot about realizing your full potential. Figuring out what God has in store for me. When I think about this it can sometimes be overwhelming. Realizing our potential?? Knowing that each and everyday as we go about our day to day activities that we have the opportunities to serve others, to guide our children and make a difference by helping those around us. I just hope I will be able to be the kind of person that the Lord knows I can be!
They talked about the simple things that do matter! Mundane Matters!
What a difference it can make - instead of yelling at our kids to listen to them, really listen to them, be there for them.
And the other quote I love is "It's hard to look towards heaven when your looking sideways at what your neighbor is doing." A great reminder to not compare your self and to not want what others have.
Nannie got them these little beauties.
Now that I'm back I can go to my favorite store. Down east. Isn't this adorable??
And I had to share this thought someone posted on Facebook. I love it!!
My cute little man. I showed him the screen and did a selfie. Ha teaching them young! He thought it was really funny he could see himself and was making all sorts of cute faces.
The boys are getting so big. They love to sit at the big kid table and eat.
It's nice to be here in Saint George with all our family. Then we can go to events like the dedication of the art Gallery for Tom's Grandma.
I had a weekend of photo-shoots in Vegas, so we met our dear friends and took a fun photo with Santa with all the kids. Totally awesome!!
Totally random but if anyone wants to make me a treat- this looked really yummy!!:
Chloe got $5 from her nanny and bought this cute book at the book fair. She still loves anything Cat related.
My mom flew in from China last week and my brother, mom, and I got to go to the temple together. It was fun to be in the celestial room with these amazing people. Of course it would have been better if my sweetie was there but he was kind enough to stay home and watch the kids.
I love him so much! Through our trials we have become even closer and I don't know what I would do with out this guy! He is my best friend and we always have such a great time together. Even taking goofy selfie's in the bathroom {which sounds way weirder than it was as you can see below}
