Wow things are so busy!  I spend all my time doing homework, taking care of the kids - especially the twins, cleaning, and doing house projects.  I roll into bed at midnight and am exhausted.  I can't wait for all the projects to be done.  It has been so long since I have blogged, that I wanted to do one big post for September.

The babies turned 4 months and we started rice cereal.  I had some rice cereal from my sister in law, and one spoon that I kept from Chloe.  I wasn't really prepared but wanted to give it a go, hence no bibs, and only 1 purple chair. The girls all wanted to help and since I wanted pics I let them.  It was pretty much a disaster.

Here is how we feed them. Or one is laying and I hold the other and then switch the next feeding. It's the only sad part because they don't get to cuddle with me, but I try to spend lots of time cuddling.. and with 3 sisters they get soo much attention!

They love to play on the floor and almost always start gnawing on each other's limbs.  Mostly Carter eating Crew.  They also always grab each others hands. It's pretty darn cute!!

In July we moved to a beautiful home -- it just needed a whole lot of paint.  3800 sq feet of it. 

Before we moved in I had to paint this room.  Lyvi did not want a green room.  Here is the shots from the previous owners.

We are tearing out the carpet throughout the whole house and replacing it with wood flooring.  It is a huge task since Tom is doing it alone. And pretty expensive so it will just take time.  I will post more later.

Redid our old stool.

For our 10th Anniversary I decided to surprise Tom with a room makeover.  When he left it looked like this....

The tree mural just didn't go with our stuff.

AFTER:

My two friends came over and we got the whole room painted with a pretty gray - I had gone shopping the whole week before and hid all the stuff in the 3rd car garage. I got new bedding, table, lamps, pillows, curtains, chairs.  This is what it looked like when he got home.  I still had more to do but he was super surprised!!

There is an extra living room in the house that is a huge waste of space, so we decided to make it my studio.  I still want to paint but here is a little peek. We put up a cute shelf and chandelier.  It is going to look so cute when I'm done.

The biggest questions is how to tell them apart.  Here are a couple things to help you.

TWIN 101

Crew {pictured below} Has Brown eyes. Has a lot more hair on his head. Has smaller features on his face. Smaller ears. A lot more chill.

Carter:  Looks a lot like Chloe.  Big huge blue eyes.  Big ears.  No hair.  Super smiley. Super Active. He also has a stork bite right between the middle of his eyes. 

They are getting SOO big.  At their first Dr. appointment Crew was in the 3% and Carter 10%.  At their 4 month they were both 50%. They are catching up already! Crew started out a whole pound smaller and now is only 2 oz. smaller.  My guess is by their 6 month appointment Crew will definitely be heavier.  {Look at Crew's big belly - on the right}

IF you said Crew is on the right, Carter left in both pics you were right!!

And finally - we have had some serious crazy rain here.  Where we live by the streets get flooded quickly.  I took the boys shopping during Chloe's preschool.  I got the babies in the cart and all the sudden it started pooring!!  like crazy!  I had to run into the nearest store and by an umbrella just so I could leave.  I really needed groceries which was across the street so I loaded the kids back up and it was raining sooo bad and I got out of the car and my umbrella broke - it was expensive too!  and thought I am not doing this so I got back in the car and drove home.  This was all in a matter of 20 minutes and the roads were like this:
