Our October
Hey it is better that I am posting once a month then never at all! Plus it's easy for all of you to just visit my blog once a month. I never thought time could go by this fast. I remember not being able to wait for the holidays and having all my shopping done before Thanksgiving. Even last year I had most of it done. This year -- I have bought one thing. That's it! I can't believe it's Thanksgiving in a few days.Anyways here is our October...
My Mom Went home the end of September. We did our last Rita's trip. I saw this picture {Look at my one arm??} and decided it was time to serious diet. So I started my no sugar no flour diet. By the end of the month I lost 18 pounds and was super excited.
Homework has taken over our life. When the kids get home at 4 we spend the next 2 hours finishing everyones homework and projects. We made this cute scrapbook page for Alyvia's class.
I decided to do some pictures of all the kids on my bed. I loved how they turned out.
I have been doing LOTS and LOTS of painting in the house. Whenever the boys are asleep out is the paint brush. It has been exhausting.
I finished the Stair well{we had to get a huge roller brush to do the stairs and I got some serious arm muscles} Finish pictures to come.

We had 6 girls over doing craft day. We rotate houses {it use to be once a week} Now with the holidays once a month. It is fun for the girls to get to play with their friends since life is so busy!
Tom and the missionaries hung my light and broke my table. Let's just say the table doesn't hold 400 pounds. Who would have thought?? {see above picture} and so I had to get a new table.
Went to Sunday dinner at my brothers. It is so fun that we all live here now and frequently get together. It's fun that all the cousins will get to grow up together.
Chloe decided to help change a diaper. She came all excited and told me she had changed her brothers diaper and wanted to show me. Here her change job in action:

Lyvi is getting all grown up. She is pretty proud that her hair is getting so long and every day ask me if it's getting longer.

Decided to redo the whole fireplace/ TV area along with putting in new flooring.
Chloe is loving preschool and I love that the boys sleep during it so I can get all my projects done.
Painted this desk for Emma. It has chalkboard paint on the top. Super fun!!
Been making lots and lots of homemade baby food. The boys love it especially Crew.
More demo - What a disaster.
Heather came down for a short visit with her kids. So fun to do a little shopping and talking instead of house projects.
Went to a photography retreat to Cedar city. We were pretty bored in the car and decided to take about 50 pictures with our cell phones of us being silly. It was pretty fun! Great night off from the kids. Tom had to take the kids shopping all by himself and was amazed that I do it all the time. He was exhausted after his one night alone with the kids.
We had models that we shot, and went antique shopping. I got a super cute trunk i am using as a coffee table. {Pictures to come} My friend even took a couple pictures of me. I actually like them which is amazing!

The boys are getting so big. They love to play on the floor and steal toys from each other. Carter even likes to eat his brothers arms or legs {he isn't picky} and Crew doesn't like it one bit.
Went to Saint George for Nevada day. I had 5 photo shoots so it was a little crazy. We got to visit my grandparents and Tom's grandparents which was so fun.
Chloe's preschool had a Halloween party and she loved dressing up.
Went to our ward's trunk or treat. Alyvia was a chef, Chloe - Ariel, Emma a witch, the boys Mario and Luigi, Tom was a peeping Tom, and I was Audrey Hepburn.
Was invited to my friend Kelli Despain's witches tea. So much fun!!

Went trick or treating with my friend Brooke, while Tom stayed home and passed out candy and the boys slept. Check out the crazy faces in the next several photos. My kids are crazy!
It was suppose to be a picture of us with all the goodies, but Emma kind of cropped it out.
And lastly Emma got to wear her costume to school on Halloween. Alyvia had a field trip and they didn't get to dress up, but she got to go to a pumpkin patch so she was super excited!
We had a crazy busy month. I am excited to blog all my stuff I actually finished. Right now I need to get back to editing. I had about 12 sessions just in the month of October so it was very busy. Let's hope November is not as crazy!!

I can't get enough of seeing your boys! I'm glad my fingerprint didn't show up on those painted jars...I felt so bad that they were wet when I touched them! The Witch's Tea was so fun...wish I could've sat closer to ya! :)
