Lake Powell & the County Fair 2014
We love our annual Lake Powell Trip. Tom was deemed boat driver so he spent the whole week taking everyone tubing and wake boarding. Leaving the boys and I to hang out. We went canoeing and they loved playing in the sand and water. This year was a lot easier since it was the first vacation we didn't bring 2 pack-n-plays, and 2 high chairs. We had room in the trunk to spare. It was awesome!!
Crew fell asleep on my lap. It was sooo cute!
Took the boys tubing. Well it was more like we laid on the tube and went super slow back to the boat. But they loved it!!
Maddie {Tia's SIL} and I went tubing. She kept falling off and I held on, so my husband tried hard to get me off. I swear the one wave we hit my feet touched my head, and I was so sore. I love hate tubing. It hurts my body so bad!
Cousin Tali doing the boys hair.
We are so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Stucki. The kids love them and they are so fun to listen to their stories and chat. We are grateful for them cause we get to Lake Powell every year because of them!
Tried to get a shot with them and all the great-grandkids.
Funniest Story. Chloe runs in and says "your welcome mom, I just changed the boys poopy diapers, it was lots of fun and I will always change them!" Her face was priceless!! I was a little worried but after checking she didn't make a mess, and got their new diapers on right. I was very impressed!!
I love these boys and the way they treat each other. It is sooo sweet!
My Sister in Law, Tia took me to try some sushi, since I haven't really had much experience with it. We got 2 kinds, a fried roll {with crab, cream cheese and cucumber} and a raw tuna avocado roll. The raw tuna was okay. A little squishy for my personal taste... but the fried was yummy!! of course I like the un-healthier one. Still I might be getting more sushi in the future. Thanks Tia!
We took the kids to the Washington County fair. Tom who was born and raised here admitted he had never even been to this fair which is crazy. We first went and did the petting zoo. The kids loved it. After we went and ate some funnel cakes, pulled pork sandwiches, curly fries, tried to walk on stilts, and then rode a bunch of rides. Emma, Eric, Lyvi and I went on some crazy spinning ride and lyvi was petrified and I was sick. Eric screamed like a girl the entire time {like obnoxiously loud scream} and Emma yelled at him the whole time to stop screaming. Not as much fun as I remember but still a fun memory!} The kids had lots of fun and even though it was a little pricey it wasn't bad for a whole night of entertainment!
